If you love theatre and want to volunteer on a more casual basis, come and join us to help run the theatre at the Vera Fletcher Hall.
We run two seasons, in the Autumn and Spring, when we engage external professional companies for one night shows in a varied programme for adults and children.
There are a variety of roles we are looking to fill - some for people who would like to make a regular commitment, and others on a more adhoc basis, for people who would prefer to commit on a show by show.
Some roles do not require regular attendance at the theatre such as stock or bar management, marketing, publicity and design. Other roles do require attendance on show nights such as front of house assistance or serving customers tea and coffee and helping to clear up afterwards. Please contact Hermione, the volunteer manager, for further details at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Vera Fletcher Hall is a vital community resource and we are always looking for people who would like to contribute to its ongoing success and development. If you love your community and have some time on your hands, you might like to consider playing a part on our small governance committee. This group is made up of talented, trusted local people who will help with necessary committee business such as managing the finances and development of the hall, but just as importantly will 'muck in' and help maintain the running of the hall whether that be helping to fix things or doing gardening and so on.
If you feel you have something to contribute, please contact Martin Wilberforce (the current chair) at email@example.com or Tom Rees (the current secretary) at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange a telephone call to get to know more about us.
