Elmbridge's Ember Centre provides a social meeting place for the Over 50's at the Vera Fletcher Hall every Monday and Thursday from 10.00 am - 4.00 pm. It offers:

flower arranging
  • A public Information point including leaflets on local services
  • Coffe and Tea bar
  • Three course lunches
  • Licensed to sell alcohol
  • Disabled access and facilities
  • A Centre Assistant on hand for help and support
  • Cards and wrapping paper on hand at reasonable prices

Activities

The Centre organises an interesting range of activities and events including bridge, darts, art and craft, exercise classes (Tai Chi is currently offered), musical entertainment, quizzes, flower arrangingbingo, discussion groups, talks of general interest, bookable outings throughout the year such as river cruises and cream teas, and seasonal special events.

Bridge: 2pm Mondays.
Art: 2.40pm Thursdays.
Tai Chi:2.45-3.45pm Monday (£3 - professional instructor)
No need to book - just turn up
